Preparing for Your Content Session
Helpful advice to help you feel confident.
Whether you’re preparing for your first customer story or your first content session, these practical guides will help you feel relaxed, prepared and ready to share your story.
Relax, you've got this.
Creating authentic content doesn’t have to feel intimidating.
Most of the people we work with have never spoken on camera before. That’s why every content session is designed to feel more like a conversation than a performance.
These simple guides will help you arrive feeling prepared, confident and ready to tell your story.
Preparing for Your Filming Session
You don’t need to memorise a script.
Instead, think about the people you help, the experiences you’ve had and the stories you’d like to share.
We’ll guide the conversation and take care of everything else.
What Should I Wear?
Wear something that feels like you.
Solid colours usually work well on camera, and it’s worth avoiding busy patterns where possible. If branded clothing is part of your business, we’re always happy to include it.
How Long Does Filming Take?
Every content session is planned around your goals, but individual conversations are relaxed and never rushed.
We’ll guide you through everything at a comfortable pace so your answers feel natural and authentic.
What Questions Will You Ask?
We’ll always discuss the conversation beforehand, so you’ll know what to expect.
Rather than following a script, we ask questions that help you tell your story naturally in your own words.
Do I Need Media Training?
Not at all.
Most of the people we work with have never been on camera before.
Our job isn’t to catch you out, it’s to help you feel comfortable, confident and able to have a genuine conversation.
What Happens After the Content Session?
We’ll carefully edit your content into professional customer stories, company overview videos and social media content that’s ready to share across your website, LinkedIn and other platforms.
